Abstract :
Confronted with global energy crisis and environmental deterioration, residence regeneration has attracted more and more attention for dealing with the ageing urban residences. On the reference of electromagnetic field theory in physics, the mathematical formula of field force of residence is established. We demonstrate that " field force" F is proportional to "residential Value" V (t) and "housing demand level" D (t) , but inversely proportional to the square of the distance from the human activity center to residence, and is restrained by the social, cultural, economic and other conditions through the case of the Qingshan district in Wuhan.
