Abstract :
In this work the technique of specifying mappings associated with encoders and decoders with inherent noise is analysed and the recommended means of distortion measure explained. This approach enhances the ability to determine where the likelihood of signal distortion and inherent errors may occur in a cascaded system architecture and the means of mitigation to ensure optimum performance. Formulations, proofs and applications of the process and pertaining results (outcomes) are presented.
