Abstract :
China is both the largest consumer and producer of coal in the world; while coal fueling China\´s economic growth it has already been causing severe pollution and huge carbon dioxide (CO2) emission. Of three main alternatives to reducing CO2 emissions without hampering economic growth, the paper proposed a practical way to shrink the carbon footprint; it has given a "Chinese definition" of the low carbon for the coal enterprises, its practices also can be extended to other coalmines.
