Abstract
Available bit rate (ABR) service may be used by applications which expect cell loss guarantees, but can control their data dynamically as demanded by the network. The introduction of variable bit rate (VBR) background traffic makes ABR capacity variable. A video aggregation system can adapt the traffic from several Moving Picture Expert Group (MPEG) sources as a bundle to the ABR on the network, obtaining an homogeneous image quality among all the video sequences, discarding the less-relevant information of each source according to image quality
