Abstract :
Speeding, fatigue driving and overloading can lead to some major road traffic accidents, and are difficulties of safety management on road passenger transportation. Effective and efficient real-time monitoring is the key to prevention of passenger vehicles speeding, fatigue driving and overloading, and to improving the results of safety management. This paper will introduce the design, implementation and result of automated monitoring system developed by Yunfa Corp., with detailed explanation on methods and tools of monitoring speeding, fatigue driving and overloading. In addition, the paper will also introduce the passenger counting system using surveillance camera, and analyze the algorithm as well as application results.
