Abstract
This paper describes novel claw-pole movers interior permanent magnets linear synchronous motor (CPIP-LSM) [1]. However, the cogging of this motor was very large and it was 100% of maximum thrust in the initial model [2]. Changing structures of CPIP-LSM partially, it was confirmed that the cogging became very small. Finally it was confirmed with the high-thrust new model that the cogging of the CPIP-LSM is very small.
