  • Abstract
    The Kalman-module-theoretic framework is applied to the study of linear systems over finite fields. In particular, the authors focus on the internal and output characteristics of discrete-time, constant, single-input, single-output, linear, dynamical systems over a fixed finite field. The results presented give precise upper bounds for the period lengths of state orbits and output sequences
