Abstract :
We propose a methodology to integrate color and spatial information for content-based image retrieval. This methodology, called Spatial-Chromatic Histogram (SCH), synthesizes in few values information about the location of pixels having the same color and their arrangement within the image. We have performed experiments on a three hundred images database and our results show a high retrieval accuracy
