Abstract :
The authors consider the design of controllers for uncertain linear systems. The knowledge about the system is restricted to a nominal transfer function model and to the quantitative bounds on the system uncertainties. They construct a robust output feedback controller which regulates the system output to almost zero and assures the boundedness of system state. In contrast to the ultimate boundedness control or sliding mode control, the proposed controller does not impose matching conditions on the system uncertainties.
