Abstract :
This research proposes an image representation, called a line string, encodes an image via a string of linear skeleton, and an image matching method, i.e., finding a longest approximate common subsequence of two line strings. An image retrieval system is constructed based on the above methods. Experimental results show any image in the system can be precisely retrieved as long as each image has a unique image string
