Abstract
This paper presents the information modelling concepts and the information specifications to support TINA (Telecommunication Information Networking Architecture). The proposed information model is designed based on the ODP information viewpoint and is an extension to the TMN generic information model. The proposed information model is intended for applying to the TINA resource management level and service management level aspects, and can also be applied to the TMN network level viewpoint. The information specification requirements are identified first. Then the information modelling concepts to meet the requirements are described. The information specifications, which are based on the modelling concepts, can be characterized into three categories. Each category provides different level of abstraction for particular users. Finally, some examples of each category are presented
