Abstract
Telecommunication systems making up networks must be able to provide non-stop service. The authors have developed a realtime telecommunication platform geared to advanced online maintenance. The platform provides functions for online package replacement and addition, and for online firmware downloading. It further provides non-stop field upgrade functions for future expansion of system capacity, applying software file updating techniques
