Interference effect on the surface plasmon excitation

Abstract :
We have investigated surface plasmon resonance in InAs by attenuated total reflection spectroscopy using terahertz pulses. Clear phase jumps are observed around the resonance. The interference effect plays a key role on the surface plasmon excitation.
