Abstract :
The authors describe a multichannel telemetry system using pulse-width frequency modulation (PWM-FM) for application to the continuous measurement of the vertical component of foot forces. This system will be used in the assessment of pathological gait. The proposed system is composed of a capacitive force transducer, an encoder-decoder of 9 channels using PWM, an FM radio frequency transmitter of 90 MHz and an acquisition and display data system
