Abstract :
In recent years, to win hot market competition, more and more manufacturers are shifting from product producers to providers of product service system which is an integrated product and corresponding service offering. When manufacturers offer products and some corresponding optional services to customers to meet their personalized needs, they should supply different product services to different customers according to customers´ use scenarios. This paper discusses the issue about how to identify key influence factors of product service configuration requirement for different customers. Firstly, a product service configuration requirement model is built. Then a hybrid attributes reduction method based on rough set is proposed. Finally, we use service configuration of extended warranty period of washing machine as an example to validate the method and find out that age is an only factor which influences service configuration requirement.
