Abstract :
When it is in the wet season and the load is low, reactive power surplus and voltage rise are caused by high-efficiency power generation of small hydropower and load reduction in Linjiang region, Baishan city, JiLin province. These problems, which exist in the power grid, are systematically analyzed in this paper. The solution measures are proposed including generator in leading power factor on operation, regulating transformer tap and compensating reactive power. The flow calculation of the system based on power flow calculation program is carried out to verify various plans. Then several better reactive power control schemes and reasonable advices are proposed to solve the existing problems in the power grid of Linjiang region. Actual operating results are consistent with the power flow calculation, which shows the effectiveness of the proposed plans.
