Abstract :
Preventing from side slipping, automobiles are being equipped EPS (Electric Power Steering) and ESP (Electronic Stability Program) at present. We need not only steering torsion sensor but also steering angle sensor for EPS and ESP. Magneto-resistance steering sensor is a substitute for steering torsion sensor, this new-type sensor can measure steering torsion and angle. Magneto-resistance steering sensor consists of sensitive magnetic elements and signal disc. After the output circuit being designed, we can obtain steering torsion and angle though the signal from the output circuit ultimately. And at the end of this paper, the characteristic curve of magneto-resistance steering sensor is showed.
