Abstract
In this paper, the signalling aspects of the Broadband Worldwide Intelligent Network (B-WIN) are investigated. It is assumed that the Signalling System Number 7 and ATM mode of transmission are used by the B-WIN signalling network (SN). The stage-wise development approach is proposed for this network. For each stage, the SN structure, used protocols and management aspects are described. General aspects of dimensioning the B-WIN SN links are also discussed
