Abstract :
This paper gives an overview of the possibilities offered now for treating lossy media using the one-step method. This method, which was proposed by De Raedt for lossless media, is known to be unconditionally stable and so it can be interesting to use it for applications for which the CFL stability condition can be a limiting factor, e.g. for bio electromagnetic applications. The PML absorbing conditions are also introduced in our study.
