Abstract :
This paper presents a new approach to develop a delay-based macromodel for nonuniform transmission line algorithmically. The proposed technique is based on employing results from the Lie group theory to represent the matrix of a nonuniform transmission line with arbitrarily shaped per-unit-length parameter matrices using closed-form expressions. The key advantages of these expressions is that they lend themselves naturally to delay representation.
