Abstract :
The error protection for video payload in an individual cell is provided by a CRC-10 code, while a high rate cyclic code is used for recovering of lost/errored cells. Based on the analysis in this paper, it is concluded that a high rate cyclic code combined with 4-bit cell sequence number provides a powerful capacity for recovering of lost/errored cells for packet video services in ATM environment
