Abstract :
An H self-tuning control scheme is presented. A generalized cost function is utilized which allows dynamic costing of the systems and control signals. The H-optimal solution to this problem is shown to reduce to the solution of a pair of a relatively simple polynomial equations. A solution method for these equations is presented which is particularly suitable for a self-tuning application
