Abstract :
Face Detection is one of the most pop researches in image processing and pattern recognition. It is the foundation of human face recognition. It also has very important values in practice application such as video surveillance, intelligence human-computer interaction and circumstance security. In this paper, we discuss the face detection method using complexional segmentation algorithm to separate a human face from background and finally extract the feature in the possible facial regions to accurately locate human face. This method is not only fit for single- face images but also the multiface images under complex environment. The experimental result efficiently demonstrates the success of this method in face detection.
