Abstract :
Flame height is a key parameter of a burning fire, and changes periodically due to the turbulence phenomenon in the process of the fire. Based on Zokuski´s oscillation frequency and flame height on the centerline of burner, a new method has been developed to calculate oscillation frequency of flame by using video image processing technology and Acoustic measure technology, Results show that the trends of oscillation frequencies of fires base on ocular image consistent with that base on Pagn´s formula; Oscillation frequency of bigger burner is lower than that of smaller burner; Frequency of the same size burner is closer, flue influence over her is small.
