Abstract :
Psychoacoustic models are the key element of MUSIC-AM audio encoding, and its DSP implementation involves a lot of computations. So whether the real-time audio encoding can be implemented using DSP mainly depends on the execution time of psychoacoustic models algorithm to a large degree. In this paper, we give a brief introduction of psychoacoustic models at the first, and then discuss its implementation and optimization based on DSP in details.
