Abstract :
Biologists have huge collection of plant data. Among them are local plant checklists that are used for species identification. However, the way the information is structured in the database does not exhibit the hierarchical nature of biological data. Currently, there is no record of models for plant identification checklist. Therefore, we propose a new information model to represent plant checklist information to improve species identification process.
