Abstract :
In this paper, a torque meter is described in which the sensor installed on a rotating shaft and the stationary measuring equipment are magnetically coupled, thus avoiding the need for slipping contacts. The sensor is based on the change of magnetic properties of amorphous iron alloys with mechanical stress. An experimental set-up is described, and experimental results are presented
