Abstract :
In this paper, the nonorthogonal code shift keying (CSK) ALOHA with received-power adaptive access control scheme is investigated and evaluated. In our system, when transmitting a packet, each user senses the received power from other users. Then the user decides whether to transmit or refrain from transmission according to the received power and a pre- decided threshold. Not only overcoming the multiple access interference (MAI) problems, but our system also improves the throughput performance. The throughput performance of the proposed system is evaluated by theoretical analysis. Especially, the throughput performance is analyzed in consideration of free space loss. As a result, it is found that our system shows better performance than the conventional scheme.
