Abstract :
Cooperative cognitive UWB system is one of the hottest topics in wireless communication areas. Rate control technology is the key technology of it. An algorithm of rate control using RCP-LDPC code in DF cognitive UWB systems is proposed, which comprised of grouping and selecting, and a suitable RCP-LDPC code is constructed. Simulation results show that the proposed rate control puncture scheme is very flexible in cooperative UWB system and the performance is better than the random puncture scheme.
