Abstract
Became of the world´s rapidly-aging population´ costs for healthcare are getting higher and higher due partially to people who failed to comply with their medication regimens costing billion per year and affecting few million patients. This paper presents a combination of IPv6 network and RFID-based medication error monitoring system integrating with Wi-Fi and GSM wireless communication techniques that is able to collect user´s medicine-taking records any time - anywhere as reference for the purpose of proper diagnosis and reduce the healthcare costs as a result.
