Abstract
Services over the Internet are important components of hospitals today. It is a serious issue to make network reliable for network managers of a hospital. The issue might not solvable to them when the network is break off because external network outside the hospital could not be controlled by them. We propose a route-based architecture with general routers, and utilize the multi-homing spirit to make fault-tolerance circuit backup framework. We also develop a method in the framework to detect network problems and switch path automatically in order to reduce overloading of hospital network managers.
