Abstract :
As a result of the breakup of AT&T, corporations are now responsible for installing their own plant telephone networks and telephone and data systems wiring. The authors describe the effort associated with this task at two locations. At one site, 450000 ft of telephone and data cable were installed. Telephone system procurement, installation, and wiring as well as the wiring for data communication networks are reviewed
