Abstract
We propose a method to design a complete analog communication system for communication at multi-gigabit per second data rate. Our system is comprised of transmit and receive matched filters and a stable analog equalizer. A modified IIR LMS algorithm is presented to adaptively adjust the parameters of the equalizer for time-varying channels. The convergence analysis is provided and the simulation results are presented.
