Abstract :
Describes the experiment proposed for the remote sensing of the comet P/Wirtanen. To achieve the experiment objectives a multimode microwave sensor has been designed which accommodates three different modes of operation: radiometer mode, altimetry mode and sounder mode. A discussion of the leading concepts is presented on which the experiment is based
