Abstract :
A modified CORDIC algorithm is presented, based on computing the trigonometric function of specific angle in one cycle, which can be expressed with 2kpi / 2^N and used in Fast Fourier Transform, Direct digital synthesis at al. Simulation results prove that the computing efficiency can be increased by about 50% and better precision may be obtained compared with the classic CORDIC algorithm. Therefore the algorithm is feasible and high availability.
