Abstract :
We propose very minimum chirp keying (VMCK) as a novel ultra-narrow band scheme to get more bandwidth efficiency. This kind of modulation employing chirp waveforms has more concentrated spectrum than VMSK employing rectangular waveforms and VWDK employing sinelike waveforms. Due to the chirp central frequency is equal to the bit rate other advantage of VMCK is easier to generate and correlation. The system structures are given and higher bandwidth efficiency has been showed in case of orthogonality.
