Study on Appraisal Index of Internet Violence

Network has made significant influences on people, involving both negative and positive aspects, among which the most striking one may be the influence connected with the violence. The purpose of the current study was to explore the appraisal index of violent information to lay a foundation for online culture safety management. Empirical study indicated that the factors influencing the violent picture appraisal were the violent or horrible degree, descriptive degree, etc, that the factors influencing appraisal violent texts included harmful degree, descriptive degree, etc. Based on the results, the researchers established the appraisal index of internet violence contributed to constructing a uniform and standard description model of grades about internet culture, thus supervising the online culture safety.
