Abstract: Every company´s business consists of a collection of activities undertaken in the course of designing , producing, marketing , delivering and supporting its products or service. Company resource strengths should generally form the cornerstones of strategy because they represent company´s best chance for market and growth success. If a company doesn´t have the resources and competitive capabilities around which to craft an attractive strategy, manager needs to take decisive remedial action either to upgrade the existing organizational resources and capabilities and add others as needed or to acquire them through partnership or strategic alliance with firms possessing the needed expertise. Basis was formed for assessing and analyzing the policy and programmed support for the development of the enterprise in Tanzania, with a particular focus on supporting growth. The overall findings and recommendations for further actions presented in this paper.
