Abstract :
This work concerns monitoring of thermal patterns on the sea surface in a marginal sea. Some timely variations of the thermal pattern can be well detected by using the NOAA´s APT (Automatic Picture Transform) imageries. Special reference is an eddy tracking in the Japan Sea as a marginal sea. The evolution of the eddy suggests a dynamical process in the sea where effects of the ocean can be seen. Geographic and bathymetric effects must be contribute to this process
