Abstract :
The progress of a spectrometer for environmental monitoring being developed at the University of Texas at Arlington is discussed. This spectrometer is an active/passive millimeter-wave (MMW) spectrometer that will operate over the 75-110 GHz (W-band) atmospheric window. Final laboratory testing of the system is projected to be the reflection and the transmission study of random dense media, and/or frequency-selective gratings
