Abstract :
The IEEE standard 802.15.4 for low-rate wireless personal area networks and ZigBee will play an important role for low power networks. From the authors´ point of view, ZigBee might even become a key technology for such networks. A low complexity and low power implementation of a ZigBee receiver which is driven by zero-crossing demodulation (ZXD), an irregular sampling technique, will be introduced in this document.
