            Abstract : 
We present in the paper a novel IR-UWB design and proposal to the standardization IEEE 802.15.6 Task Group for future BANs with a wideband PHY. Transmitter and detectors are described. Simulations results in terms of PER plus link budget and power consumption are provided.
