Abstract :
Josephson primary voltage standards require a frequency-locked 77 GHz signal source to perform precise frequency-to-voltage conversion. We describe superconducting digital frequency counter being developed for frequency locking. Since it eliminates some system components, this counter reduces the cost of Josephson primary standards significantly.
