Abstract
this paper presents a systematic design procedure based on H℞ optimization technique for damping low frequency electromechanical oscillations in a HVDC link for a wide range of operation conditions. It is shown that the suggested method can improve the dynamic stability of system and it can perfectly consider the uncertainties of the power system. The simulation results verify the capability of the suggested method and designed controller.
