  • Abstract
This paper presents a new method for solving transient Eddy current problems in EMAT non-destructive testing calculations. Using a linear approximation of differential operators, problem´s underlying differential equation is discretized in space, while being kept continuous in time; then Picard Method is exploited to solve the resulting equation numerically. Results are compared to analytical models and previous formulations and good agreement is found.
