Abstract
A simple multisensor decentralized sequential test is proposed and analyzed. The average sample number (ASN) of the proposed scheme is shown to be a monotonically decreasing function of the number of sensors used. The authors use the MLGDS procedure in the multisensor decentralized scheme. The ASN is shown to be a monotonically decreasing function of the number of sensors used. This result shows the feasibility of using the MLGDS-test-procedure-based multisensor scheme to outperform the SPRT of A. Wald (1947) for a single detector, thereby compensating for the performance loss due to the grouping of samples. Some comments about truncation are made. Some numerical results are presented
