  • Abstract
This paper gives a first insight into the evaluation of multifrequency and multipolarisation data in repeat-pass SAR interferometry. A method for “coherence synthesis” i.e. for the calculation of the interferometric coherence for any possible combination of the polarimetric state of the transmitting and the receiving antennas between the two passes is presented. First results of the application of this technique indicate the potential of the application of polarimetric techniques in interferometry
