Abstract :
The Z-80 CPU Bus Monitor/Analyzer is a custom-designed circuit that was developed to further enhance the capabilities of an 8-bit-microprocessor training system presented at the University of Louisville. Although originally designed to be used with the Z-80 based FOX Microprocessor Training System, the unit can just as easily be used with any 8-bit microprocessor system that supports the popular STD Bus structure. The CPU Bus Monitor/Analyzer is used during single-machine-cycle operation and provides the user with valuable information about the current status of the entire CPU Bus
