The Construction of Grass-Roots e-Government in China

The quality of grass-roots e-government not only directly affects the overall development of national e-government level, but also directly determines the ability of e-government public services. Therefore, via e-government, the government can improve the overall planning, organization and coordination, inspection and supervision as well as the ability of providing public services, establishing an efficient and streamlined government to promote political, economic and social progress. In this paper, based on the analysis of the present situation of Chinese grass-roots e-government, it gives the recommendations about construction of grass-roots e-government.
