Abstract :
A novel ultra-wideband antenna with partial L circular patch is proposed. Because of smooth impendence characteristic of partial circular patch, the bandwidth of antenna is enhanced largely. Good agreement between the measurement and simulation has been achieved. The results show that the impedance bandwidth of the antenna reaches up to 3.1-20 GHz and 2.5~18 GHz (Sn<-10 dB) for wide slot antenna and monopole antenna. Meanwhile, good omni directional radiation performance has also been achieved.
